Traveling is important, but better to do it in a sustainable way. Sustainable mobility is the set of practices, solutions and technologies available to meet the travel needs with the lowest environmental impact. Sustainable mobility has 3 main objectives:
- reduce the polluting emissions;
- reduce traffic in urban centers and the accident rate;
- avoid urban decay and land consumption due to the construction of roads.
September 22, we celebrate the World Car Free Day. During this Day, people are invited to use sustainable means of transport for their travels. The purpose is simple: reduce the number of cars in the streets, thus decreasing traffic and pollution.
